NIKKI THOMAS has been a part of the KBLX family for over 15 years!

She is your host of SOUL SCHOOL SUNDAYS, 2-7pm–classic soul from the 60s, 70s, and 80s–AND the “What’s Trending” report with the Dream Team weekday mornings.

A dynamic motivational speaker, Host/Emcee, AND certified yoga instructor, Nikki uses her unique combination of skills and talents to Heal, Motivate, and Empower our communities.

Born, in New Orleans, LA, Nikki started her radio career in 1992. Since then, she’s been heard in Buffalo, NY, Boston, MA, and finally, the San Francisco Bay Area.

Highly visible in the Bay Area community, Nikki has partnered with several local organizations, including Black Girls Code, Impact HUB Oakland, Outdoor Afro and the City of Oakland.

She has taught her SOUL YOGA classes at Steve Harvey’s Neighborhood Awards in Atlanta, aboard the Smooth Jazz Cruise, at Brian Culbertson’s Napa Valley Jazz Getaway, and at W Hotel San Francisco to name a few.

As a host, she’s opened for Iyanla Vanzant, Steve Harvey, and Les Brown. Her legendary interviews include Danny Glover, Janelle Monet, Tamar Braxton, Jamie Foxx, Sidney Poitier, and Dick Gregory, too name just a few!

Nikki is also the creator of SOUL POWER Academy–an online business and branding school.

She’s an Aquarius, an 80s kid, and can be easily spotted because of that HAIR!
