News Director/Co-host Nikki Thomas brings her mix of news and wacky morning banter to the Bay Area from (freezing cold) Buffalo, New York. Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, she has been on the airwaves for 10 years!

Joe McConnell has been in the broadcasting business since 1981 when he was News Director of the UC Berkeley campus radio station. During his college years, he also served as an intern at KBLX/KRE, writing traffic reports for the morning.

Antoine Davis, KBLX mid-day announcer and host of the "Classic Soul All-Request Lunch Hour", joined the KBLX family in December 2003. Born and raised in San Jose, Antoine has his finger on the pulse of what makes San Francisco Bay Area listeners so unique.

Sterling James has spent years in radio around the Bay Area and now she comes to KBLX. With her silky smooth delivery, Sterling captivates listeners and the fit is perfect for KBLX. When not in the studio, Sterling enjoys dancing, shoe shopping and supporting and encouraging young poets.

John Chung is undisputedly a native son of San Francisco. He began his long career as an intern with KBLX in October of 1981. He quickly became part of The Quiet Storm family and emerged on-air in the summer of 1982.

Classic Soul Sundays are hosted by AJ Kemp. AJ's career began right here in the Bay Area. Over the next 20 years, AJ's career took him to Australia, England, Philadelphia, St. Louis and now he has found a home with the KBLX family.

Doug Lee has been on the airwaves for over 30 years and has worked at many of the top Bay Area stations, and except for a brief stint at a top-rated station in Hawaii, he has managed a very successful career right here at home in San Francisco. Doug joined the KBLX family in 2004 and continues to be a favorite among listeners.

Valerie Maxwell is thrilled to be part of The Quiet Storm family!  Originally from St. Louis, Missouri, she relocated to the Bay Area in the Fall of 2003.  She is a proud Oakland resident and is enjoying all the wonderful artistic and cultural activities Northern California has to offer.

Lifetime San Francisco resident Kimmie Taylor started her radio career shortly after high school. Kimmie is KBLX's Music Director and weekend on-air personality.

Timothy Alexander White, Oakland native and on-air personality continues to capture listening audiences from all over the San Francisco Bay Area.  Whether he's hosting KBLX's smooth R&B or performing on radio and TV commercials.
