TOP EIGHT GUYS SHOW AMERICA WHAT THEY'VE GOT ON 'IDOL'
Lee Dewyze started off the show with his version of "Fireflies." Dewyze gained everyone's approval but Simon's this week. Up next was Alex Lambert who sang "Trouble" and was told to loosen up and have fun. It was a good night for Tim Urban who received a hug from Ellen for singing Jeff Buckley's version of "Hallelujah." Both Casey James and Aaron Kelly tackled country songs this week and were given credit for effort. Andrew Garcia sang "Genie in a Bottle" and still failed to live up to his peak moment during Hollywood week. Toddrick Hall, on the other hand, finally proved to be a singer who can dance rather than the other way around. The show ended with an incredible performance from Big Mike Lynche that literally brought Kara to tears.
