A bit of summer fun at the Alameda County Fairgrounds

A summer tradition for many of us in and around the East Bay is the Alameda County Fair, which unfortunately has been cancelled this year due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Despite the annual fair being cancelled, there will still be some flavors of it at the fairgrounds in Pleasanton this summer. The Alameda County Fairgrounds are hosting events such as drive-in movies, food trucks, Fair Food Fridays and drive-in concerts, which started being held over last weekend.

The events will have proper rules to follow such as wearing a mask/face covering along with social distancing.

Thanks to the Alameda County Fairgrounds for giving us these opportunities to have some summer fun in 2020. I am looking forward to checking them out one of these days, hopefully to get my fix of a fair-style corn dog along with other food!
