Colin Kaepernick may win big money after trademarking his signature “I’m With Kap” slogan for clothing. The hashtag blew up on social media after the NFL allegedly blacklisted him for taking a stance against racial injustice. Celebrities from Kenny Stills, Harry Belafonte and G-Eazy have been rocking shirts with the slogan. So don’t be surprised if some “I’m with Kap” hoodies, shirts and hats show up in a store near you.
There’s even some talk that major clothing brands, like Adidas and Puma, could make a move to sign Kap in the future, so owning the trademark could mean big business for him. But its not like Kap is hurting for money, he reportedly made more than $40 mil in contract money during his NFL career. Plus, he had a bunch of sponsorship deals.
Not only has Colin stood up to become a leader fighting racial injustice , he has donated over 1 million dollars to charities and non-profit organizations, including his “Know Your Rights” campaign. Can someone say hero![embed]https://www.instagram.com/p/Bj3DV4OFBfS/[/embed]
