WHAT WE TALKED ABOUT ON THE SHOW.

The Daily Mail claims the key to staying healthy while self-isolating is to manage stress and boredom. Feelings of anxiety reportedly lead to more snacking and putting on extra weight.

Nutritionist Tamara Willner says, “Between stress around uncertainty, working from home, and reduced social interaction, emotional eating might be particularly prevalent in the coming weeks. Emotional eating occurs when food is used to soothe or suppress negative emotions such as isolation, anger, boredom, or stress … the most common foods craved are usually ultra-processed, such as biscuits, crisps, chocolate, and ice cream. These foods are scientifically engineered to quickly target the pleasure receptors in our brains.”

Experts recommend keeping a food diary while under quarantine and performing brain-challenging tasks to stay engaged.

Teens Post Glamorous Photos Of Unusable Prom Outfits

Buzzfeed says teens are creating their own red carpet-inspired “glambots” to show off the dresses and suits that they planned to wear to their proms before the coronavirus.

Iowa senior Chloe Ledbetter created a homemade photography rig to display her dress using a selfie stick, lamps, tape, and a belt. She says, “I had a fan going too. I was really into it. I was very determined to make it look good.”

GOSSIP AND TABLOIDS

Selena Gomez tells The Wall Street Journal that getting Taylor Swift’s approval of her new album gave her a confidence boost. “I remember Taylor said when I played her some of the new songs, ‘I feel like I’m seeing who you were before this.’ That makes me happy. I like feeling like that girl again.”

Lady Gaga tells Vogue magazine that she’s in a great place in her life right now.“Yes, I’m focusing on the things that I believe in. I’m challenging myself. I’m embarking on new territory with some nerves and some overjoyment. It’s an interesting time in my life.”

BuzzFeed News says Lady Gaga is delaying the release of her new album, Chromatica, due to the coronavirus. She posted, “This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us, and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.”

Dua Lipa tells Vogue magazine that she will continue surrounding herself with other women in her music videos. “When I was creating the videos, it was almost just like: ‘Well, obviously this is what I’m going to do.’ Because that’s where I feel most comfortable. When I’m supported or surrounded by other girls, it’s empowering.” I created [my first] video around my reality and my friends. It came across as very strong female empowerment, which I’m so proud of and happy about. I continued with that because I love how it made other women feel, how it makes my friends feel, and how it makes my little sister feel.”

Post Malone tells Insider.com that he loves his signature flashy outfits. “I like stepping out in all the rhinestone suits and such and the cowboy hats and stuff, and that’s all really fun for me. I guess that’s my favorite part — expressing myself with some clothes that a lot of people might not wear, but just rocking it to the best of my ability, I guess.”

The Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am tells The Telegraph that staying relevant can be a struggle. “Pop is the most competitive form of music there is. You are always fighting to be adopted and accepted by the masses, and it’s always shifting. Usually in four years, there’s a changing of the guard, the sound changes, the world changes, politics changes, technology changes. So if you’ve been relevant for more than four years, you must be doing something right. How about eight years? How about 12? Wait a minute, are you still here?”

The Sun says Arnold Schwarzenegger has donated $1 million to the Coronavirus Frontline Responders Fund. The fund supplies masks, gowns, gloves and other medical supplies to those battling the pandemic.

Schwarzenegger says,  “Our doctors, nurses and hospital staff are the real action heroes of this crisis. I just play one in the movies. We have an opportunity and a responsibility to provide them with personal protective equipment right now to keep them safe as they fight this virus. This was a no-brainer to me. With all of the courageous work they are doing on the frontlines to keep us safe, buying a few hundred thousand masks with a million dollars is the least I can do. Please take a moment to join me in supporting our heroes.”

Contact Music says Oprah has banished her partner, Stedman Graham, to her guest house because of the coronavirus.

”Stedman is at the guest house. You all know I had pneumonia late last year and you can still hear the raspiness in my throat sometimes. And I just got off antibiotics last week and so Stedman was late to the party. Stedman didn’t arrive from Chicago until Thursday and he was speaking in St. Louis on Saturday and he’s been on planes. He was like, ‘What’s the procedure for coming home?’ And I was like, ‘You ain’t coming in here and sleeping in my bed. It doesn’t work that way… Social distancing doesn’t mean you can go sleep in a bed with someone after you got off American Airlines.’ We can not play those games. I leave food on the doorstep…He’s happy to have me safe. We just take him dinner and we take him breakfast.”

People magazine says Mama June is no longer talking to her daughters, Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo. They tell the magazine, “She doesn’t even answer our phone calls. It goes to voicemail. Or they’ll say all their phones are dead and they were sleeping. It’s gotten so low to this point, like, what more is there to do? What more can we physically do for her? I mean, we tried to send her to rehab. The network even gave her the opportunity that anybody in their right f—ing mind would take. She checked out within less than 24 hours.”
