Rihanna’s ambassador role expands

Rihanna has been all over the news lately! Fenty, her recent amazing fashion show, and now this. She’s been appointed as Barbados’ “Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary“. Her responsibilities are to include promoting education, tourism and investment for the island.

Rihanna was appointed as one of Barbados’ Cultural Ambassadors in 2008. This expanded role, however, takes into consideration her multidimensional achievements and global influence. She says she’s ready to take it on!
