Muni Metro light rail service will be replaced by bus shuttles. Subway stations will be closed. Downtown subway stations shared with BART will be open for BART service only. Bus shuttles will stop at the same stops as the Early Morning Metro bus service.
Muni Rapid routes 5R, 9R, 28R and 38R will be temporarily discontinued and riders will be encouraged to take the local routes. The 14R serving the Mission Street corridor will still run.
The temporary service change also impacts other Muni routes.
When riding public transportation, be sure to practice social distancing and to ride for essential reasons.
