– NBC says NBA players are going to wear smart rings to keep them safe from the coronavirus. The OURA ring can predict coronavirus symptoms 72 hours in advance with 90% accuracy. The ring measures body temperature, respiratory function and heart rate. Players will also wear a Disney Magic Band, which will allow the NBA to contact trace when games restart.
– Business Insider says McDonald’s plans to hire 260,000 employees this Summer to keep up with the increased demand from to the coronavirus
– Business Insider says Indonesia’s largest airline, Garuda Indonesia, is allowing flight attendants to stop wearing coronavirus masks because customers complained they could not see their smiles. The airline is looking to replace the masks with plastic face shields.
Fauci Says Football May Not Be Played: Brobible says White House Coronavirus Task Force member Dr. Anthony Fauci tells CNN that it may be impossible for college football and NFL football to resume this year because of the coronavirus. “Unless players are essentially in a bubble—insulated from the community and they are tested nearly every day—it would be very hard to see how football is able to be played this fall. If there is a second wave, which is certainly a possibility and which would be complicated by the predictable flu season, football may not happen this year.”

People panic bought the popular noodle soup as soon as the pandemic started. Noodles are often used as currency in prison. Over 50% of the items purchased from prison stores are some variety of Ramen noodles.
