– A new coronavirus t-shirt is trending online. The $24 shirt reads: “Don’t Be A Covidiot Be A Social Distancing Champion” and features a picture of Bigfoot walking through the woods at sunset.

– Business Insider says retailers are hiring workers to take customers’ temperatures. They are being called Safety Specialists.

– Fortune Magazine says the Golden Globe Awards have been moved to February 28, 2021 because of the coronavirus.

Coronavirus Rage Room: WKBN says the Eastwood Mall, in Niles, Ohio, has opened a rage room. The room is called YO! Crash and allows people who are stir crazy, frustrated and angry because of the coronavirus to smash dishes, plates, glasses and other breakables. The room is open by appointment only and is sanitized after every rage. The owners of YO! Crash say their therapy is cheaper than going to see a doctor.

100 Year-Old Beats Coronavirus: The Chicago Tribune says 100 year-old Leora Martin, of Elkhart, Indiana, has beaten the coronavirus. She also lived through World War II, survived cancer and beat a recent case of pneumonia. Leora was one of 76 residents at her nursing home to be infected. She and her twin sister, Delora, celebrated their 100th birthdays with a Zoom video conference call.

Pandemic Accelerating: The World Health Organization says the coronavirus pandemic is accelerating. WHO’s director general Tedros Ghebreyesus says, “The pandemic is still accelerating. We know that the pandemic is much more than a health crisis, it is an economic crisis, a social crisis and in many countries a political crisis. The greatest threat facing the world is not the virus itself, which has now killed over 465,000 people and infected nine million, but the lack of global solidarity and global leadership. We cannot defeat this pandemic with a divided world. The politicization of the pandemic has exacerbated it.”

Apple Watch Update Has New Coronavirus Feature: Business Insider says Apple has created a software update for its Apple Watch that includes a hand-washing timer. The timer makes sure you’re washing your hands for as long as you should be. It was created because of the coronavirus
