There's truly no denying Lizzo's star power. On the heels of Rihanna voicing her interest in collaborating with the multi-talent, BJ the Chicago Kid is also throwing in his stake to get in studio with the Cuz I Love You chart-topper.
Speaking with ABC Radio, the 1123 vocalist shared that he's not only a fan of Lizzo but believes she's what the music industry has "been waiting for."
"Lizzo is like sick with it," BJ said of the Texas-bred hit maker. "I love how you can be you, authentically, and with an amazing gift and an amazing talent."
"I think that new transition in the music industry is something that we've all been waiting for," he added. "As long as you're picking the right songs or the right product to give people, they're open."
Lizzo has certainly had a tremendous 2019. Her breakout hit, "Truth Hurts," continues to reign at no. 1 on theBillboard Hot 100, two years following its initial release, she's graced the covers of Elle and Billboard respectively and she's starring in the blockbuster film Hustlers alongside Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B.
Now, as for what a Lizzo and BJ the Chicago Kid collab would sound like on wax? We'll just have to wait and see.
