Jamaican newcomer Davo, the first signee to Tory Lanez's One Umbrella label, is poised to shake up the music industry with his “psychedelic R&B” single and video for “Say Something."
Hailing from his forthcoming debut album LXD (Live and Dream), the intoxicating single navigates through the sound of trap beats and R&B, as the multi-instrumentalist serenades us with his melodic flow.
Produced by Beatgodz, the mid-tempo single and video serve as a tribute to the 90s love songs from Grammy-winner Sade. The music video was shot in Los Angeles and directed by Tory himself.
As he readies LXD, Davo plans to introduce the world to his own neo genre. “I make dark, beautiful psychedelic R&B. It’s something you can trip out to, but it still has a serenading quality to it," he shares in a statement.
Soon the world will bear witness to the talented lyricist and singer, who's produced tracks for Tory, Rick Ross, Fabolous and more. He was featured on "Connection," with pop singer Paloma Ford off Tory's Memories Don't Die album, and a few months back released a video for "Pull Up,"
