Kevin Hart is reportedly back at home with his family after being released from rehab following his September 1 car accident in Los Angeles.
According to TMZ, Hart is “grateful” and “shocked” to be alive after the harrowing accident, in which he reportedly fractured his spine in three places after his friend Jared Black veered off Mulholland Highway in Malibu and crashed through a wooden fence.
TMZ reports that Hart was released from the hospital on Sept. 11 and was then admitted to an inpatient facility for physical therapy.
As previously reported, some of Kevin's close friends, including comedian Tiffany Haddish, has been giving updates on Hart's recovery.
Haddish recently told Entertainment Tonight that Hart was “doing fine," adding, “We’re gonna be starring in movies together. He’ll be back up and at ‘em. He’s already walking. He’s good.”
Hart is expected to make a full recovery.
