Sterling is joined by Program Director, Chelsey Brown and Director of Strategic Partnerships, Rodrigo Alfaro of BUILD Bay Area inside the KBLX Studios. BUILD’s mission is to use entrepreneurship to ignite the potential of youth from under-resourced communities and propel them to high school, college, and career success.
During the first two years of the BUILD program, students will work in teams to create their very own small businesses, where they will not only create business plans but pitch for funding, manufacture and sell their products. While in the latter two years of high school, students will use the skill-set that they learned early on, to prepare themselves for their life after they graduate from high school.
