“Spicy please.” Those two words come out of my mouth every day. I love spicy food! My perfect boyfriend, Joey said to me last night that he’s never eaten more Asian food in his life since we’ve been together. This week we’ve eaten: Japanese, Vietnamese, and Schezuan food from great places all over the Bay Area. Fun fact about me: I went through a phase where I couldn’t tolerate anything hot. Even the guac from Chipotle was too hot. Fortunately, that changed. I still don’t know why that happened but I’m glad that’s over.
Anyways, when it comes to my favorite spice? It would be spices of the Carribean but there are not many restaurants that prepare legitimately spicy Carribean food. My next choice? Schezuan Chinese food is my go to. I swear Joey and I eat Schezuan 3 times a week. Here’s a quick video on how to prepare one of our favorite dishes…. TRADITIONAL STYLE!
