Hey it’s Double Barrel Daryl, weekend mixer on 102.9!  I am a Bay Area native who simply enjoys the diversity of the Bay. Which is why I’ve been fortunate to work here. The diverse fun staff is everything to me. Definitely mirrors our listeners. I have son and a daughter and between playing records for 102.9 every weekend, I also coach High School baseball. My nephew plays professionally and was an MLB all Star. I love music, baseball, vanilla ice cream, the movie Scarface, GS Warriors, Raiders, Sanford and Sons. The best bay area concert ever: Fresh Fest Oakland Arena circa 199sumthin. LL Cool J, Eric B & Rakim, Whodini.

I been a DJ since 1991 and have been blessed to have worked in the San Francisco Bay Area. Music lovers here are smart and receptive! They love their favorites but will groove to something new and funky!  It’s been a privilege and a challenge entertaining you all these years. I appreciate the love and support and will never take it for granted. 102.9 is the perfect place for me. It’s an iconic station I grew up on and the best is yet to come! Keep rockin’ with us!
