Sterling James

Sterling James

Monday – Friday (10am – 3pm)

Sterling James was born in San Francisco, raised in Berkeley and has spent ALL 30 years of her radio career right here in the Bay Area. Having grown up listening to KBLX, Sterling was honored to come on board back in 2006 and loves hanging with you! Of her DJ style, she says, “I've always wanted to be seen as the cool girl next door who has an awesome record collection, whether we’re chilling or bumping it loud, the music is always good.” Along with her work in radio, Sterling enjoys supporting local youth poets, clothing designers, artists and live musicians and, of course, raising “Baby Girl” to be a proud, third generation, Bay Baby!
