Sterling James was born and raised in the Bay Area and has spent all 30+ years of her radio career in San Francisco, CA. She started at her high school radio station, KVHS, in 1985. Went on to get a BA in radio and television at San Francisco State University and honed her skills on-air at KSOL, Alice@97.3 and Energy 92.7.
